Support
Something wrong? Tell me.
Write to support@galanovauniverse.com about anything — a bug, a device that won't run it, a purchase that went sideways, or something that just doesn't make sense. A real person reads every one, and you'll normally hear back within a day.
What to write about
-
Bugs and crashes
Anything that broke, froze, vanished, or did something obviously wrong. Lost progress counts, and it's worth writing in quickly — the sooner I know, the better the chance of getting a save back.
-
Device compatibility
It won't install, won't launch, runs badly, or the controls don't fit your screen. Phones especially — there are far more Android devices than I can test on, so if yours misbehaves I genuinely need to hear about it.
-
Purchases and storefronts
Something you bought didn't arrive, was charged twice, or won't restore. Write in and I'll chase it. Note that refunds are issued by the storefront, not by me — Steam, Google Play and itch.io each run their own — but tell me anyway, because a payment problem is usually also a bug on my end.
-
Anything else
Confusing UI, a translation that reads oddly, an accessibility problem, or a question the game should have answered and didn't. All of it is fair, and none of it is too small.
What helps me fix it faster
None of this is required — send a one-line email if that's all you have time for.
- The build you're on
- It's in the filename of whatever you downloaded, and it encodes the version and the exact minute it was built — so it tells me more than a version number would.
- Your device and OS
- Phone model, or Windows version. For browser play, which browser.
- What you were doing
- Even roughly. "It crashed when I opened the shop in the arcade" narrows it down enormously compared to "it crashed".
- A screenshot
- If the problem is something you can see, a photo of the screen is fine.
When you'll hear back
Usually within 24 hours, and always from a person. There is no ticket system, no bot, and no phone tree — Galanova is made by one developer, and that developer answers the mail.
Which also means that if it takes a little longer, it's because there's one of me and I was asleep. Write in anyway; nothing gets lost.
