To-do list

What's built and what isn't. There are no dates on this list: one person builds this game, and a date is a promise about a future nobody can see. What's here instead is the whole picture, finished work included, so the unfinished half has something to be measured against.

  • 110+ classes, and the skills under them

Each class a unique combination drawn from 40+ combat and 40+ non-combat skills, with no cap on the character bench.

    Done
  • The worlds

Rath is the demo. It is not the game — there are many more planets.

    Done
  • Eighteen minigames

All of them playable while your party autobattles.

    Done
  • Autobattle, and the modes that switch it off

Normal or hardcore, plus any combination of Solo, Chosen One, Iron Man and Turtle, locked at save creation.

    Done
  • Dungeons

Built, and there is one in the demo.

    Done
  • Raids

The top of the gear ladder, for parties of up to forty. Not implemented in any form yet.

    To do
  • Ground battlefields

The hexgrid layer as it stands, and it is in the demo.

    Done
  • Space battlefields

A first pass exists. Untested, and not in the demo.

    In progress

The game is single-player first and stays that way. Everything here is optional, and none of it gates the story.

  • Leaderboards

One for every skill, every enemy and every drop, live in the demo.

    Done
  • Accounts and cloud saves

Optional. The game runs perfectly well signed out.

    Done
  • Server-side validation

Leaderboards are the only competitive part of the game, so the scores on them have to be real.

    Done
  • Chat and minigame multiplayer

    To do
  • Basic graphics

The look is settled and the game is drawn in it.

    Done
  • Dialogue

Placeholder throughout. This one needs time rather than money, which is why it goes before the art.

    To do
  • Music

    To do
  • Portrait art overhaul

The last thing on the list, because it's the one that needs funding rather than hours.

    To do
  • Browser, Windows and Android builds

The same save logic under all three.

    Done
  • A free demo that stays free

One planet and one minigame, with leaderboard support that is never slated to cease.

    Done
  • Surviving strangers

Crash handling, save migration, onboarding, and a bug-report loop that works when the person reporting isn't me.

    To do
  • Taking money

Entitlements that answer "what does this account own" rather than "did this device pay", and demo saves that carry into the full game.
